Support for the children's palliative aid in Lower Bavaria
The company "Airfreigth Express Global GmbH", managed by the owner, Marcus Zehentbauer, with its locations in Oberding (head office), Frankfurt, Sao Paulo in Brazil and Hong Kong, operates internationally, but Mr. Zehentbauer has his roots in the district of Landshut.
He has never lost his connection to his homeland, as he also contributes his international experience as chairman of the Mittelstandsunion in the Landshut district association. The entrepreneur also has good memories of the Landshut St. Marien Children's Hospital, when his two sons had to spend time there. That is why his special thanks still go to all the nurses, caregivers and the team of doctors. Thus the circle closes here, since he came by the children's hospital on us - the child Palliativ assistance Lower Bavaria ".
Quote from Mr. Zehentbauer: "It was a concern for us to get involved here in our region, because unfortunately we also have too many seriously ill, especially palliatively ill children and young people in Lower Bavaria, who are not on the sunny side of life."
Kinder-Palliativ-Hilfe Niederbayern has made this very purpose its mission and supports seriously ill children, adolescents and their families throughout Lower Bavaria and works closely with the St. Marien Children's Hospital, which in 2016 founded the outpatient children's palliative care team (SAPV - Spezialisierte ambulante pädiatrische Palliativversorgung), which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The children are to be cared for in their home environment as far as possible by medical, nursing and pastoral care experts. This saves families many arduous trips to hospitals. The Children's Palliative Care Association would like to make a contribution to ensuring that intensive care can be provided on a permanent basis. For this purpose, the association needs funds on an ongoing basis, which are only covered by donations and membership fees, in order to be able to carry out this work. Every cent donated benefits this purpose, as all board members work on a voluntary basis. We thank Mr. Zehentbauer and all involved for their generous donation and big heart.
